TREE lab students went out on a limb with a retreat at Cedar Point to celebrate the end of the school year. Lab members took the opportunity to branch out and brave thrilling rides as well as enjoy the park’s food and festivities!

Our study led by recent PhD graduate Mike Mayer and titled Experimental characterization of heat transfer coefficients in a moving-bed shell-and-plate heat exchanger with non-contact temperature measurements was published in the International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer. A paper led by former PhD student Luisa Barrera titled “Revealing the role of redox reaction selectivity and mass transfer in current–voltage predictions for ensembles of photocatalysts” was recently published in the journal Energy & Environmental Science. Read more in the press release here.
