ME 530 (Advanced Heat Transfer) students did a fantastic job presenting their final class projects that included computational heat-transfer analyses for various applications — laser-based additive manufacturing, optimizing fin design for a transfer case, heat-transfer analyses for welding, packed-bed solar thermal energy storage, and regenerator design for cooling a rocket engine. Great job everyone!
